In which I surpass myself
Duct tape dress form – project finished
(in progress post here)
Wow. this is depressingly half-assed and ginormous. Why do I need this? Well, we’ll see if i use it while making my skirt of choice from "sew what, skirts".
problems with this project:
- needed to do two layers of tape while on body.
- forgot to mark natural waist while was on body
- should make measurements on body and check with form once it is stuffed
- i think it needs to be stuffed with something other than the polyester batting i used. it’s too squishy. foam maybe would be better?
