skirt – made by me at the craft gym in sf
I’m quite proud to have finished this skirt in 4 hours. It is actually the first item of clothing that I have sewn and finished from a pattern. i still have my Elvis in space dress that needs finishing. I think that the craft gym is going to do 2nd Saturdays for open sewing workshops. I think.
or i could just suck it up and finish the darn thing.
I really wanted to put a foul ruffle on the bottom of this one but there wasn’t time. Instead I used the fancy hemming lace to finish off the inside lower hem.
This fabric did not require a french seam but at least I know how to do one now.
