My dream last night
Was really weird.
Right before I woke up it got extra weird.
I was lying on the floor of the dining room at my parents old house and it was empty of all furniture. I was writhing around holding a box made of wood and metal kind of like a treasure chest might be and I was holding it out to my parents who were standing over me.
I was screaming something like, “can I put it in the box that cooks things?!?!?” Because I couldn’t remember the word for microwave and I couldn’t remember if you could put metal in a microwave.
Vim had just answered the door and gone outside to talk to the people who had pushed a very ornate carved wooden piano up to the door.
Then I woke up.
I know! Sorry! I’ve bored you with a pointless dream. Since I gave up my pointless ‘crap about me’ blog I’ve been feeling the lack.

Hi there, I just happened upon you page looking for a pattern for spats, and I saw your description of your dream. I figured I would help shed some light onto the dream, if it helps at all, then good! =D
Your parents’ old house represents a desire to build your own family. The fact that the dining room was empty represents making a decision. The box you were showing to your parents represents you trying to preserve and protect an aspect of yourself or could represent your limitations. The microwave is quick-thinking or actions, and also representative of a need to consider new and better ways of doing things. Your parents represent power, shelter and love.
The piano is a need for harmony, and the open door is a receptiveness to accept new ideas or concepts.
So, you are possibly trying to make a decision about adding to your family, but need to consider your own personal limitations, while looking to your parents for support and strength in the process. You are looking for some harmony in your life, and are willing to listen to options to do this.
Sometimes dreams are just weird. But I think sometimes there is some truth hiding in them somewhere. Let me know what you think!
