Mr. Pants seems to be back to his old self. This week he only had a few boneless episodes with me and those only lasted about 30 seconds. Mostly in regards to having clothing put on or removed. I’ve started just letting him run out to the car in his socks and once he is strapped to the car seat I put his shoes on.
My alternate theory is that last week, when he was being boneless A LOT, is that he was just sick and weirded out by the sudden care taking routine. He went from me all the time to Vim and nanny and then to me and Vim all week. Confusing! He seems to be over it AND he language is getting better SO FAST. I’m amazed.
Yesterday at M and T and T’s house Jack ate 1/2 a brownie bite, another 1/2 brownie bite and 2-3 fudge stripe cookies. Dear future self, do not allow baby to eat a bunch of chocolate and sugar with out balancing it with some protein. Suddenly Jack was um, a tad EXTRA exuberant, not bad exuberant just VERY. He ran up and down the driveway screaming and dancing with two other kids and then he cornered T in the garage trying to hold hands. Then he and T tried to touch and pick up every single tool in the garage and had to be herded out. Then Mr. Pants ran around the house in circles.
He has been throwing and hitting WAY too much. I’m getting tired of admonishing him even though I know the repetition of it is probably what he needs to learn not to do it. But HOW LONG does this throwing and hitting stage last? Forever if I am doing something wrong?
