Vim put Jack to bed last night while I was upstairs sewing and watching Buffy the Vampire Slayer. I came down tot eat and heard a piping little voice saying, “mama? mama?” And so I had to go in there to give him a kiss and to lay him back down. He tried to scam me! He patted his butt and said poop and then pointed at the light switch. So I had to check to make sure… NO POOP.Then he kept pointing to stuff outside his room and books in the bookcase. NO GO KID. Bedtime.

Oh yes, for us it is the intentional dropping of a beloved toy and mama read me another book or water. They learn so young to be conniving!
