Thank you for not being perky

I hate Ikea shopping carts. Have bitched about this before? they ALWAYS list to the right and so you end up pushing your cart sideways in order to go forward. So all of Ikea is filled with people cursing and struggling with their annoying carts.

I wanted to go there today but as I was getting ready Jack put himself down for a nap. and then when he got up 45 minutes later he was busy playing a game in which his stuffed animals fall out of the bed and he threw a big ass fit when I tried to get him to leave his room. I had to promise a hot dod, ice cream and much playing at Ikea to get him to come with me.

Speaking of falling out of bed… that is exactly what has been happening to Jack. So we bought a bed rail while getting our ice cream. Only 10$!

Jack was so sweet while we were on vacation but now that we are home he is being demanding, whiny and generally very much a 2 year old. It’s fairly easy to manage him… but it’s so very tiring. Sometimes I feel like my head is going to explode if I have to make up one more game in order to trick him into putting his shoes on or whatever. Getting him inot a diaper is sometimes completely impossible. I bought some pull up disposables while were in MI and those help sometimes because you aren’t messing with the velcro tapes and folding the cloth thingy but still, it’s a pain.
