The chicken underground
Two things I want to have as soon as we buy a house: a clothes line and chickens.
I want a Rhode Island Red, at least one!

GreenFoot has an article about a chook dome that you can make yourself from pretty cheap hardware store materials. This is the one I would want I think.
I’m pretty sure in Oakland and Berkeley you can have backyard chickens. I’m not sure if it changes by neighborhood though!
