Took Jack out to take a walk and look at birds. We saw coots, seagulls, buffleheads (male, female and juveniles), some pie-billed grebes and, of course, canada geese.
Jack liked looking on my phone at iBird Pro at the illustrations of birds.

houseboat?!
we have 2 new pelicans, young enthusiastic ones who sit on the boat and on posts nearby and dive constantly in a floppy incompetent way to gulp down minnows!
